  • Statio, Latin for Stand on Guard, is a targeted Catholic special forces intercessory prayer ministry engaged in the spiritual war against the powers of evil, in petition for the renewal of our parish, the Catholic Church, our country and the world, to save souls living and dead, and to become personally God-strong.  We do this peacefully in full accordance with Catholic Church doctrine, through the intersession of the Church’s Holy Alliance* and a commitment to regular daily prayer, sacrifice, and personal sanctification.

*Holy Alliance = Church Militant +
Church Triumphant + Church Penitent =
    Full Communion of Saints

    • Church Militant = all the living faithful engaged in the spiritual battle against evil on earth (all aspiring Saints)
    • Church Triumphant = all who have died who are now in God’s presence in heaven (the Saints), and heavenly Angels
    • Church Penitent = all who have died who are assured of  heaven, but are in purgatory still being purified
  • To grow in Holy Alliance through prayer…

    • For the renewal of our parish, all its ministries, and for the entire Catholic Church (Pray that we grow in number and, most importantly, in holiness.)
    • To save souls living and dead (Pray for the conversion of our living fallen-away loved ones, our enemies, our country and world, as well as those who have died – the souls in purgatory, especially the forgotten for whom no one is praying.)
    • For increased personal sanctification (Commitment to individual spiritual growth by remaining in a state of grace through regular reception of the sacraments – Confession and Holy Eucharist; Eucharistic Adoration, personal prayer, study, fasting and penance; team and other faith formation events.)
    • For other various special intentions (Received from Statio members and other parishioners)
